The Challenge
Fragmented deployment environments hosted across external Netlify repositories created staging conflicts and slowed down editorial content workflows.
What I Changed
Consolidated fragmented deployment and content workflows into a more consistent Next.js, Storyblok, GitHub, and Vercel setup. Built reusable components so the marketing team could launch and update pages more efficiently.

The Challenge
The website needed dynamically refreshed business information and customer reviews without making the initial page load unnecessarily heavy.
What I Changed
Built a Next.js server-side route to retrieve and cache Google Places API data, then exposed the content to the frontend while keeping rendering and SEO in mind.

I'm Jason Alam, a Web Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience building, maintaining, troubleshooting, and modernizing production websites.
I started with WordPress and Elementor development, working with international clients to turn designs into responsive websites and solve difficult frontend and CMS problems. Over time, my role expanded into custom JavaScript/PHP development, hosting and DNS, website performance, analytics, conversion tracking, technical SEO, and production troubleshooting.
More recently, I've worked with modern Next.js and headless CMS architectures, including the migration of production WordPress environments to a decoupled frontend and modern deployment workflow.
I also use AI as a development tool for prototyping, debugging, automation, code generation, and accelerating implementation — while taking responsibility for understanding, testing, and deploying the resulting work.
